Lucia Bellizia has a degree in Classical Literature and a Master's degree in Philology, Literature and History of Antiquity; she has deepened her study of Latin and ancient Greek and has studied French and German. Her interest in astrology dates back to 1984, but only in 2002, after having explored the various currents of modern astrology, did she decide to cultivate exclusively the ancient one. She has participated in national and international conferences and is often invited by institutional bodies (libraries, museums, universities) for informative interventions. You have written for astrological journals (Ricerca '90) and academic journals (Bruniana & Campanelliana). She is the author of the translation and commentary of the Phases or Apparitions of the inerrant stars by Claudio Ptolemeo (InSedicesimo Publishing House, 2017) and of Ἀστέρες Anthology of texts on the fixed stars , (Self-Publishing, 2023). She organizes basic and advanced courses on the fundamental principles of astrology and on different forecasting techniques. The objective of her research, which is always based on the reading of ancient texts in the original language (Ancient Greek and Renaissance Latin) and of the School of Astrology entitled Apotélesma, directed by her, is to deepen the not only knowledge of the techniques, but also to show how the discipline has been and is part of the history of human thought. Some of her numerous essays and translations of passages by ancient astrologers and comments by twentieth-century philologists are also published. She is a member and advisor of the Cielo e Terra Association, which deals with the dissemination of the methods of ancient astrologers, of the CURA, Center Universitaire de Recherche en Astrologie , created in France by Dr. Patrice Guinard, of the RAO, Rassemblement des Astrologues Occidentaux.
